People always joke that “dog” spells “god” backwards. They should consider that it might be the higher power coming down to see just how well they do, what kind of people they are. The animals are right here, right in front of us. And how we treat these companions is a test. – Linda Blair
When you are truly ready to do your soul work, you will fall hopelessly in love and deal with every single hardship that engagement creates by becoming a better person – in such a way that not one soul is harmed, blamed or credited for anything that might happen to befall you, good, bad or indifferent.
Love the quote and your thoughts. True, love is a state of being, love is the raw of us, it is our essence.

Hi, Wendy…
Your thoughts on soulwork and love here, touched me immensely. It’s been my experience in recent years that ‘real’ love isn’t a feeling at all…but a lifeforce that connects me to everyone around me. Frankly, there have been times when I wished I didn’t love someone…but that was only the Pain speak. Once I accepted and embraced the pain that I felt from the lesson I had chosen, the Love was there. Stronger than ever. Not a ‘hollywood’ style love, but something Holy. Something alive and dynamic and greater than me.
OK…that might sound corny but 🙂 LOL THANK YOU
